Brides Paid to Enter into Illegal Marriages
An police investigation in Scotland has exposed a spate of sham weddings between African immigrants and Scottish heroin addicts.
The female heroin women were offered payments of up to £2,000 to marry the Ghanaian strangers who, once married, would then be able to live and work in the UK.
Ms ‘X’ was the ‘mastermind’ behind this scam and worked closely with African gangsters to arrange the fake marriages.
A register office source said
“This scam was hardly subtle yet it had gone of for years. Ms X was the fixer but she is a vulgar loudmouth who draws attention to herself.”
As long as she could get the addicts to the ceremony room with enough capability to say ‘I do’, her job was done.
What a terrible thing to do, heroin addicts are already at the lowest possible point, but to abuse them further just sucks.

Groom Dies After One Day Of Marriage
Sad story this one. Andrew McCarthy at just 40 years old was diagnosed with terminal cancer just 3 weeks ago, he was then given less than a year to live.
He quickly proposed to his long-term partner, Nicola, and they arranged to get married within 3 weeks of the diagnosis, the aim to spend as much time as possible as Mr & Mrs McCarthy.
The good news is that they managed to get married, the sad news is that Andrew died the very next day.
“It was Andrew’s dying wish to get married – I’m so glad we did it in time.”
It’s nice to see that they got their day of happiness in amongst such sadness.
Alaska Couple Take The Plunge In A Pool
The walk down the Aisle was replace by a 136ft water slide and the couple said i do in the middle of the swimming pool.
The wedding cake was in the shape of a swimming pool with a tiny bride and groom standing on a driving board ready to dive in.

Husband Must Give His Wife 124,000 Roses
Yes, that was one hundred and twenty four THOUSAND roses!! This is a man from Iran who made his mahr (dower) the gift of 124,000 roses – well this week his wife called the mahr in and now he is in a spot of bother!
Under Iranian law a woman has the right to claim her mahr (dower) at any time during the marriage and this week an Iranian Court has ordered her husband to give her the 124,000 roses she was promised by him when they got engaged.
The unhappy wife has decided to ‘punish her very stingy husband’ leading up to their 10 year wedding anniversary.

Bride Arrives at Church in a Hearse…
Fancy a wedding with a difference? How about dressing in black and riding in a hearse, completed with coffin in the back?
That is how Julie arrived at Wakefield Register Office to marry her partner Kevin.
Julie was dressed in a long black lacy dress with matching veil and black satin ribbons. She had black and white gothic make-up which took over two hours to complete!
The groom, Kevin, who is also known as Dylan (for some reason..), turned up sporting a top hat with a full length cane. He was dressed in a black frock coat with a full length Victorian scarf running down his back, while a red and black bow tie finished off this unusual wedding attire.
Could you imagine going to your wedding in a hearse? With a coffin no less! Some people do the strangest things…
Coleen Bans Wayne’s Family
It seems if your last names Rooney you won’t be getting an invite to Wayne and Coleen’s wedding.
Thanks to Wayne’s family both Coleen’s 18th and 21st birthday party’s hit the headlines and not for the right reasons! One of Waynes cousins decided to get her boobs out for the media on her 18th and her 21st ended up in a Rooney family punch up due to the free bar!
The last straw for Coleen was when one of Waynes gay transvestite cousins offered to be bridesmaid.
I can’t see Wayne’s family being to pleased with the news…
Heather Mills to Rob Sir Paul of £25 Million
It seems that Heather Mills is going to take Paul McCartney to the cleaners and take a whopping £25 million of his personal fortune for the 4 years that she spent married to the former Beatles star.
At over £6 million for each year she spent in the matrimonial home she can count that as a solid 48 months work.
I have no idea how you can enter into a relationship and after such a short time walk away with such a huge sum of money that you had no input in generating whilst at the same time comes nowhere near the amount you would have earned should you have focused on a career, rather than having a child.
Baffles me.
Bride Dumped at Alter
A bride who was left standing at the alter is suing the groom who literary ran away and left her alone with the Priest! Lilibeth Gaviola and Ryan Sesante had been classmates in college in 1998 and became sweethearts after meeting up again in February 2006.
On arriving at the church Lilibeth was met with the news that Ryan had not yet turned up – when the Groom is late, you gotta know something is going down…..
Before the Groom could say ‘I Do’ a woman stepped into the church and shouted ‘Father, please stop the wedding’ and called out Sesante’s name twice….. Off Ryan shot with the other women to the amazement of the guests.
Now Lilibeth has filed a suit for breach of promise to marry and is now claiming for moral damages.
Have you ever been to a wedding where the bride or groom have done a runner at the very, very last minute? Still, probably better before the final ‘I do’ than 6 months later.
