Green Couple Take The Tube To Take Their Vows
An environmentally-friendly couple have had a green wedding by travelling to their ceremony by Tube.
Bride to be Stefanie Schmiedel, her groom Robert Gray and all their wedding guests Travelled from Dollis Hill underground station to Malebone register office.
They thought about going on Their bikes but decided going by the tube was a better compromise for them and their guests.
To ensure their wedding was as green as possible the brides dress was made from reusable material.
Her engagement ring was second-hand and the menus and order of service were printed on recycled paper.
The food for the reception was locally produced and the weddding cake was organic.
The couple are also members of Brent Friends of the Earth.
