Couple win Seven Thousand Pound Wedding
Everyone enjoys a win, whether its ten pounds on the lottery or a raffle prize from the local Bingo hall. For one lucky couple from Sprotbrough in Doncaster, they scooped a massive seven thousand pound wedding in a recent competition when the bride’s sister entered on the couple’s behalf.
Thirty two year old Claire Smith and forty year old Gary Peterson had been together for over ten years and engaged for about eight. They had suffered with some bad luck over the years and their wedding was delayed over and over so for them, the win couldn’t have come at a better time.
The competition offered a couple a wedding with thousands of pounds worth of prizes which includes a budget of five hundred pounds for a wedding dress as well as the outfits for the groom and his best man, six hundred pounds towards the photography which will be taken on the day by Katherine Rouse Photography. The Regent Hotel has included one of their gold packages which costs over four thousand pounds and caters for between eighty and over one hundred guests.
The couple were over the moon when they heard their news and are really looking forward to their big day!
