Royal Armouries Opens for Weddings

The Royal Armoury Museum located in Leeds has opened its doors for weddings and the first couple to enjoy its stunning and historic surroundings was a couple from Lytham St Annes who were accompanied by two knights dressed in full armour!

Laura Vincent, a care assistant, was walked into the Armoury on a red carpet after leaving her vintage open topped car.  Twenty nine year old Laura and her partner, Adam Ali-Qazalbash were married in the Royal Armouries Hall in front of around one hundred friends and family members.

Following their vows, while the newlyweds had their photographs taken, the guests were able to enjoy the décor in the tournament gallery as they were served canapés with champagne with the knights in armour standing close by.  The reception was held in the Wellington Suite where the tables were beautifully decorated with ice carvings.

The Museum is licensed for civil services and offers a variety of packages and can cater for a large amount of guests and boasts an extremely professional approach to planning weddings!
