The National Wedding Colour Theme Survey, Yummy Favours and Wedding Chaos

yummy-favours1We would like to get your valuable support with our national wedding colour theme survey. It should take no more than five minutes to complete.

As you know, many brides struggle to decide on their wedding colour theme. But until this is confirmed, it can be impossible to start the rest of the planning - and it gets very stressful if left too late. Your valuable input will identify the most popular themes and help thousands of couples facing this difficult decision.

By completing this survey, we will enter you into our free prize draw to win £100 of custom designed luxury chocolate wedding favours supplied by Yummy Favours.

I Love You, Man

At cinemas everywhere April 17th
Cert:  15

In I Love You, Man, a comedy from John Hamburg (Along Came Polly, co-writer of Meet The Parents, Meet The Fockers, Zoolander), Peter Klaven (Paul Rudd, Knocked Up, The 40 Year Old Virgin) is a successful real estate agent who, upon getting engaged to the woman of his dreams, Zoey, discovers, to his dismay and chagrin, that he has no male friend close enough to serve as his Best Man.

Peter immediately sets out to rectify the situation, embarking on a series of bizarre and awkward man-dates, before meeting Sydney Fife (Jason Segel, Forgetting Sarah Marshall), a charming, opinionated man with whom he instantly bonds. But the closer the two men get, the more Peter’s relationship with Zoey suffers, ultimately forcing him to choose between his fiancée and his new found bro, in a story that comically explores what it truly means to be a friend.

Win a Thorntons Easter Egg :)

thorntons-eggs.jpgAs it’s Easter, how about a little competition to win some Easter eggs?

We will have 3 winners, who get to choose from a white, milk or dark chocolate Thorntons Easter Egg :)

To enter simply register with this Blog, post your opinion / thoughts (at least 10 words) on any of the Blog Items (on the left..) then reply to this Blog post with your ‘competition entry’ - which is your guess at the Bonus Ball from this Saturday’s (22nd Mar) main National Lottery draw.

The closest three people to the actual number will win. If there is a tie, then the closest without going over will win.

Only one entry per person and the competition is open to just the first 49 entrants. Don’t guess a number somebody else has guessed, as the first person to pick that number will be the winner. Can only ship to the UK.

Good luck :)

Win a Wedding Worth Almost £7000!

Wincham Hall HotelKatherine has gone to London and I am left holding the baby - well not quite holding as she is currently taking a nap. This nap only lasts for 30 minutes and 12 have been taken up eating.

So, if there are spelling mistakes in this, blame Fay for not checking!

There is a competition running to win an all inclusive wedding at the Wincham Hall Hotel in Cheshire. This is a stunning location about 20 miles from where I live.

The winners will get an array of prizes, from silver service dinner and drinks package for 50 people, a Toastmaster for the day, outfit hire, photos, video, cake and much more!

If you want to enter you have explain, in no more than 100 words, why you and your partner would like to win. Seems easy enough, althouh ‘to get loads of free stuff’ will probably not get you onto the shortlist!

The wedding must take place between October 1, 2008 and February 28, 2009 and is subject to availability.

Full details can be found on the This is Cheshire website

Would you want to win a wedding where most of the services are already decided?  Would it being ‘free’ ease any compromises?

My view - damn sure it would!
